Who?

For anyone who supervises or manages people and wants to inspire themselves and others to perform to their potential.

Why?

•To understand what motivates people to do a good job

•To recognise the importance of co-workers and managers who  constructively or de-constructively influence motivation

•To inspire managers to discover creative ways of motivating staff and keeping them motivated to do a great job

•To develop a style of communication that helps to deliver the motivation message

What?

A range of techniques are likely to be included to help mangers gain a better understanding of how their own attitudes and behaviour has an impact on their own and others motivation.  An interactive case study can explore the issues faced by managers and help gain clarity in making expectations known.  A simulated auction can surface true feelings as to the necessary skills and knowledge learners feel are key to success.

During the course, the learners will be able to meet the characters in a number of situations and to explore how our own emotional states affect communication and how it is possible to respond to the emotional states of others.  From the discussions, the learners will develop strategies and steps for addressing issues within the current situation and begin to visualise how it could be different.

Frank hated being told what to do.  He felt that despite his twenty two years of loyalty to the company, no one really knew what he was capable of! This was just another Tuesday afternoon, wasn't it? ......

All our courses are bespoke and originated through a process of extensive research. The information given here is for guidance only. The characters are fictional, any likeness to real people and events is purely coincidental.
