"Am I being understood...."
Who?For anyone who would like to be a better communicator Why?•To recognise our own language patterns •To reflect on the variety of meanings attached to language •To learn about frameworks that can help define the effectiveness of our communication •To practise language constructs that enable the meaning of the communication to be understood What? One of the many things you may aspire to be is an excellent communicator. The art and science of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) offers concepts and tools which help to develop awareness of our internal language, the way we think, and the impact of our communicated language. NLP has been developed over the past thirty years and is becoming increasingly well known as a useful concept for bringing about positive change. Act Positive runs various courses in Neuro Linguistic Programming. These may be residential courses, evening or one day interventions. All the courses explore the concepts and look to apply those to everyday experiences - of communicating with family, friends and work colleagues.
