"Doris Lessing once said 'That is what learning is. You suddenly understand something you've understood all your life, but in a new way.' She seems to know what she's talking about."

How does it work?

The use of drama is fundamental to the success of our programmes. It provides an accessible way to develop or change the culture of an organisation or to highlight and deal with difficult situations. Behaviours and attitudes can be challenged and skills developed within the safe environment of a fiction. In this approach learners' skills, capabilities and understanding are acknowledged and shared.

Everyone is an expert.

In addition to and fused with the drama the variety of engaging, interactive and fun exercises that we use are based on principles of accelerated learning. They acknowledge preferred learning styles and multiple intelligences. They involve people in meaningful processes towards effective change.

An Act Positive course:

• Grabs attention and engages people quickly
• Motivates people to think and feel about the issues involved
• Respects people as experts, drawing on what they already know
• Remains in the memory and informs further development
• Is easily accessible and works with any size group of people
• Is custom built for your organisation and therefore relevant
